- Startup Weekend Latinx in Tech LA – Sept. 29 – Oct. 1, 2017 (Los Angeles, CA)
This unique event is one of five happening simultaneously across the U.S. (Miami, NYC, Chicago, Oakland) to support LatinX led startup ventures. Being of Latin descent is not required, but the goal is to have 70% of participants and mentors, and 50% of judges be Latinx. Can’t attend? Follow along with #SWLatinxtech and #SWLatinxLA.
- Startup Weekend Peel Region – Sept. 29 – Oct. 1, 2017 (Brampton, ON)
Grab your friends and make the short drive from Toronto, Waterloo, or beyond to participate in this exciting event in Peel Region. In the month of September, cities across Canada (Kamloops, Bay of Quinte, Saint John, Calgary, Montreal, Vancouver, and Peel Region) are competing in the#SWCanada17 competition for a big grand prize! You’re invited to participate!
- Youth Startup Weekend Mackay 2017 – Oct. 6 – 8, 2017 (Mackay, Queensland)
Young entrepreneurs are invited to Startup Weekend Youth Mackay to take an idea from nothing to something, pitch to prototype, in 3 days.

Participants can choose the events they’d like to attend. Typically these events are held at various venues across a city. Speakers from the community, and outside it, are brought in to share their story to motivate and inspire the entrepreneurial community. Local organizers select the tracks they feel are most relevant to their community and choose speakers based on those tracks.
